Katherine Bell has 17+ years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to her position as the Lead Appraiser for Green Oak Appraisal Team, Mrs. Bell was a Senior Appraiser with Newmark (formerly Newmark Knight Grubb Frank) from 2018 to 2023 in their Charlotte, NC and Denver, CO offices and appraised multifamily, retail, office, industrial and select luxury single-family homes in North Carolina, South Carolina, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Mrs. Bell earned her appraiser licensing at Cushman & Wakefield and appraised multifamily and mixed-use property types in North Carolina and South Carolina. She understands the unique economic environment and nuances of appraising on tribal land in Montana and Wyoming. She has experience in performing market feasibility studies and appraisals under the Department of Housing & Urban Development’s MAP (Multifamily Accelerated Processing) Program. Mrs. Bell is well versed in affordable multifamily programs, such as LIHTC and Section 8. Mrs. Bell has thorough knowledge of commercial real estate lending, including FHA, SBA, and CMBS programs in all commercial asset classes where she held multiple titles within the loan pipeline, including processing, analysis, underwriting, and servicing.
